Once in a while I feel the need to produce a work of art that will amaze the whole world. Unlucky for me, I am no artist. And it is next to impossible to craft something with my two left hands.
Since I am more of a imitator than a creator, I tend to take other people’s ideas and try to copy them as best as I can. The results are often a complete flop, but there are some moments of triumph. However, I don’t give up for I’ve got lots of art projects I intend to do despite my manual handicap.
Christmas is coming and I decided to surprise my family by preparing some of the presents myself. I consider Pinterest as an unfailing source of ideas for a failed artist like me and I chose a foolproof project that even I couldn’t spoil.
Here’s what you need:
- artificial flowers
- hot glue
- white spray paint
Glue the flowers onto canvas. Spray them with multiple coats of white acrylic paint. Optional: cover the painting with transparent varnish to protect the delicate petals from dust and dirt.
As you can see for yourself the flower garden is easy to make and it looks beautiful.
