Only 11 days to Christmas! It’s high time to think about presents for my family and friends. It is always a hard job to come up with something nice and unusual to give. This year I decided to give my nearest and dearest funny things I made myself. As usual I turned to Pinterest for inspiration and some great ideas.
# A SURPRISE TOOL KIT
My father has a sweet tooth. He loves chocolate and consumes a staggering amount of sweets every day. So I bought him a big tool box and filled it with mini Snickers, Mars, Bounty and Twix bars. I am sure that this sweet tool kit will make my dad extremely happy.
# AN UNUSUAL PINEAPPLE
My mum is a health-conscious woman. She drinks various lotions and potions to keep her body and mind in a good shape. I bought her a bottle of health tonic and glued Ferrero Rocher chocolates. I added some green paper at the top to make the whole thing look like a pineapple. She’ll get something for her mind, her body and her soul.
# A JAR OF DELIGHT
Young people spend lots of time poring over books. They often stay up late to cram some more knowledge into their already stuffed heads. Consequently, they are tired and sleepy in the morning. A jar filled with colourful Skittles and M&M’s chocolate candies can definitely help them survive the next day and brighten their lives. And if you really want to make them happy, you can slip some money into a paper tube and hide it in the jar. Just imagine the shrieks of delight upon discovery!
# MARBLE CUPS
My parents-in-law are huge coffee lovers. It is a truth universally acknowledged, that this hot, brown beverage tastes much better when drank from a beautiful cup. So I bought two cups and saucers and dipped them in warm water with a dash of nail varnish. I achieved an interesting and eye-catching design. I added several chocolates, wrapped everything in a red fabric, and voila, a stylish Christmas present was ready!
