  1. I’m going to have to make a cup of ginger cause I’m feeling the chills of winter right now. Goodness… I do not like cold weather here… I do not like the cold weather there… I do not like cold weather anywhere! lol But if a warm cup of tea will help me make it, I’m for it. Thanks for sharing, dear!

Thank You for reading my post. I hate cold weather, too. I’d love to move to a different country with a mild climate but that’s not an option at the moment. So I keep myself warm and cosy and wait for spring. 🙂

  2. I really hate winter time and you have some good suggestions on staying positive. I too drink a lot of hot tea. And on days when the weather is a little warmer going out for a walk helps a lot.

  3. What a great post! I struggle with mild SAD too, and I find drinking tea instead of alcohol helps a lot…. eating well like you said, finding more hobbies or continuing your normal ones, staying busy, etc. Love the pictures you used!

The weather has such a great effect on us, humans. The lack of sun and low temperatures always manage to depress me. So I keep myself busy, try to sleep 7-8 hours and eat well. However, training helps me the most in my winter blues struggles. A fit body makes a fit brain.
Thank You for the compliment and good luck. 🙂

Yes. I mix rosemary with cistus incanus (another herb) and make one hell of a cleansing tea. It helps boost immune system and cleanse the body from toxins. It has also got antibacterial, antivirus, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory properties.

There is a very easy way to stop your man from being grouchy – close his lips with a kiss. 😉 It works every time!

  4. Great tips to beat the winter blues! For me personally, a hot drink or a hot bowl of soup would be my go-to during the winter season. brrrr… stay warm!! 🙂
